One recent customer's old asphalt driveway was taken out and the new one put in on a single day by V & F Paving. A customer who got a quote around May from Francesco Senior wrote that Francesco Jr. got right to work the next day prepping the driveway once called. A week of rain added two more weeks of waiting, and the customer said the guys explained that they had found water under the old driveway and that the base should be dry and compacted. On asphalt day the owner, Francesco, was there, and the customer called the amount of base and asphalt material used generous and said they were happy with the price. On a driveway that needed drainage, a customer said the owner, Francesco, was on site and the equipment looked brand new. A customer said Francesco personally supervised the asphalt paving when the company replaced their old driveway and added Belgian block. A customer whose driveway was replaced said the team checked in on small decisions about stone work, the site was clean and organized at the end of each day, and the office and management kept them updated on scheduling. A 2024 customer said the company did a 3000-plus square foot driveway tear out, regrade and pave in under 8 hours, with a person dedicated to directing traffic by the main road. A 2024 reviewer wrote that the company laid a new driveway, put in a cobblestone patio, replaced a walkway and front walk, and put bluestone veneer on a back step. A 2025 customer said Angelo walked them through a basketball court project and fit it into a busy schedule in time for a graduation party. A 2025 reviewer described a two-day paving project for a parking lot at a rental property in New Haven that holds up to eight vehicles. A patch.com item names V & F Paving among the contractors a town thanked for their work. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0667503, as active, held by V & F Paving LLC.

Fantastic service from the time we met with the owner to the completion of the job. Our driveway was complicated and needed drainage. The crew that did the work was amazing, professional and friendly. The owner Francesco was on site could not have been nicer, their equipment looked like it was brand new, clearly well maintained. Highly professional experience from start to finish.
Got my quote early in the year around May From Francesco Senior and had the work done in August now this is not a complaint.. when I called Francesco Jr. He got right to work the next day prepping the driveway. I only mention it because some companies won't even pick up the phone. I was patient and it paid off.. the crew was happy to work when they got here. Very professional and skilled and you can tell they're experienced at what they do .. not just day laborers. Due to a week of rain I waited another 2 weeks and the guys were great at explaining that they did find water under the old driveway and how the base should be super dry and compacted.. all signs that they care about the final product.. On asphalt day the owner Francesco was there and all hands were on deck and that includes the owner. Again professional, as clean as asphalt allowed and experienced. All the proper machines and trucks. Everyone is happy to be working which is an added plus. Another thing I noticed and I was worried about since I I've heard horror stories...was the amount of base and asphalt material that were used was generous! Ive seen some neighborhood driveways done by other contractors and the asphalt looks thin.. or they come out to pave right after it rained.. 🤦🏻♂️ V&F cut no corners the prep work was solid and the asphalt looked unlimited as they poured it on. I am beyond happy with the price, experience and out come.

Highly recommend V&F Paving. From the very beginning they were professional and communicated with us throughout the project. Replacing a driveway is a significant project and investment. The first person to come out was wonderful at providing information and helping with questions we should ask regardless of who we select for the job. After that the team was super nice, neat and the workmanship was top notch. They checked in on small decisions related to stone work to ensure we were happy. The site was clean and organized at the end of each day and folks from the office and management checked in and kept us updated on scheduling.
