Vo Flooring works out of 732 Granite St in Braintree and has been trading since 2000. Tom Vo runs it personally — he is the one who turns up for the estimate, and customers deal with him from quote to handover. The work is hardwood installation, sanding and refinishing, ceramic and porcelain tile, and carpet, residential and commercial. The pattern across two dozen accounts is speed and a hands-on owner. In a July 2026 review a customer said the job looked professional and Tom was very punctual; a July 2026 Google reviewer had LVP laid in a basement and old carpet ripped up, all finished in a single day. A November 2023 customer had over 900 square feet of carpet replaced with new hardwood and described Tom communicating at every stage — cost estimate, material delivery, work dates, and starting earlier than planned. A September 2024 client refinishing wood floors said the price came in at or slightly under other quotes without any drop in quality, and that they were told exactly how to prepare the house so the crew could start immediately. The craft detail is there too. In a November 2021 review a homeowner described the crew fitting hardwood precisely around existing doorway trim and to the walls where baseboard would cover it. A December 2023 customer had a glass tile backsplash installed and called it beautiful. Estimates get done fast — several reviewers say Tom came out the same day they called — and one October 2020 customer had the crew work a Sunday to fit around her schedule. Two things temper that. A May 2026 Google reviewer rated the company one star, saying they were overcharged and that the wrong material was used for the job — the most recent substantive account on file and the one to raise directly, since it goes to both price and specification. And in a July 2024 review a customer who was otherwise very positive about the tile work noted that the transition between new bedroom flooring and the existing hallway floor had to be redone a couple of times before it was right. It is also worth knowing that the two big directories publish an identical 4.8 from 88, so that figure is one record shown twice; Google, on a much smaller base, sits at 4.3. A solid, long-established choice for hardwood, refinishing and tile on the South Shore, with an owner who quotes quickly and stays involved. Before you commit, get the material specification and the price written into the contract, confirm how floor-to-floor transitions will be detailed, and check current Massachusetts registration and insurance yourself — no directory publishes a licence number for this business.

Tom and his team put LVP in our basement and ripped up an old carpet, too. They got everything done in a single day and were very punctual, clean, professional, and friendly! Would highly recommend
