Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0527584, is active on the state registry under the name WEED MAN LAWN CARE. A recent customer who said they had tried Tru-Green and others credits the company's advice on fall aeration and overseeding, and wrote that the tech guys who come out take the time to talk about the lawn. A customer with an irrigation system said the company provides flags every year so they don't aerate it, and often follows up by call or email to see if the work was satisfactory. In a 2025 review, a customer said a follow-up treatment resolved a chinch bug problem at no additional cost. A 2025 customer paid for aeration and overseeding, saw no germination, and said a technician confirmed the concern and offered to "try again in the Spring." A 2025 customer who switched to Weed Man that year said the lawn ended the season full of weeds despite repeat sprays, and that the company's answer was another $800 for overseeding. A 2024 customer said a grub problem took two years of visits to identify.
Amazing service work
The team at Weedman is who I trust. I've used Tru-Green Scott's and others, including myself And Haven't gotten the results that I get with Weedman. It has taken a good 2-3 years to get it the way that I always envisioned because of my neglect and not truly listening to what they recommend which is the aeration and overseeing in the fall, but ever since I've done all that including my own efforts to bring in topsoil and de thatch as well as top dressing , at the end of the day, they are giving me the professional advice and recommendations that I finally followed through on and my results are absolutely unbelievable I'm almost embarrassed how nice it looks now literally looks like a Lush thick super healthy MLB Park like Lawn, I'm now encouraged to repair any small areas on my own after buying a leveler and everything else is manageable, The entire team is very respectful and professional, despite my frustrations and attitudes over the years, Together as a team, we all accomplished some amazing results. The Tech guys that come on out are very friendly and always take the time to talk to me about my lawn and adjust any concerns that I may have. There's no need for me to trust anybody else they're pricing is great and I've worked too hard to get to this point to let it go, It's all about your curb appeal if you want to maintain value for your home and enjoyment while you cut your beautiful lawn, so don't give up on your Lawn and don't give up on Weedman. They're the best to work, custom service is top notch And their payment plans are very flexible, Actually, even enjoy their great dashboard where you can see the history of your services. Pictures don't lie I just can't believe my lawn is this Green, this thick and shiny and healthy, especially this time of year. Nobody had a worse, Lawn than me And it doesn't help that my neighbors were a nightmare. My biggest challenge is the nutsedge And Weedman responds to what is needed on top of all the other crazy weeds that come in each year. They even helped me achieve my goal of getting some grass in a wooded area that I cleared out that never was able to grow grass just can't say enough about this great company and all the amazing employees that work for them. If you want a great Lawn , Go with Weedman and stay with them.
