Weiss Sheet Metal is a family-owned Avon fabricator that has served the community for more than half a century. Its official site describes residential, commercial, and architectural metal fabrication, including countertops, sinks, hoods, cabinets, panels, trims, canopies, and custom work, from a 27,000-square-foot facility. The written customer history is mixed and dated. A June 2025 Google review praised the people but reported mediocre work on a $12,000 box, saying the sides were not straight and rework would be needed at the customer's expense. Older Houzz reviews from 2012 and 2016 praised exact-specification stainless work, craftsmanship, communication, and on-time delivery; those accounts should be read as historical examples rather than current performance. The company has an A+ BBB rating but is not BBB accredited. Before commissioning custom fabrication, confirm drawings, tolerances, finishing standards, inspection points, delivery timing, and how corrections are handled if the finished piece does not match specification. Weiss may fit architectural, commercial, or residential projects requiring custom metal components, especially countertops, sinks, hoods, and related fabrication. Its Massachusetts location and current capabilities are clear; the most recent workmanship complaint makes a detailed written specification and acceptance process particularly useful.

Good people, mediocre work, very expensive. I simply don't know what I'll so with my $12,000 box where the sides aren't straight. Can't fit a straight lid to a crooked box. I'll figure out some forceful rework elsewhere, at my expense, and I'll redo all the grinding/finishing work myself because it isn't up to my standard. I cannot recommend Weiss based on the product I got, but a good and responsive company to work with if you're doing simple things.
Responsive, technical and professional.
Great fabrication shop!!
Weiss Sheet Metal produced high quality stainless steel bases for my coffee tables. The table bases were built to my exact specifications and I was impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of their work. The staff were extremely competent and professional. Highly recommend them.
This is a great team and they were super easy to work with. Communication was a breeze, as they were easily accessible and very responsive. I designed an oversized custom bar sink, but had several questions about the fabrication and design functions. I send them my drawings and we worked together to tweak the design until it was perfect. They delivered the sink on time and without any unexpected charges.
