Westport Contractors

Angelo is the name in Westport Contractors' reviews, and the work customers describe starts with fences. Customers on Angi, where the company holds 4.7 stars from 53 ratings, describe fence repairs, a stockade fence install, replaced posts and a garden gate, plus yard clean-ups, a gravel driveway and other outdoor work around Westport. The written reviews run from 2019 to 2025, and the detailed ones date from 2019 and 2020. In a December 2019 review, a customer said Angelo arrived exactly on time, installed a stockade fence quickly, matched the price of another contractor who had not shown up, and worked around a couple of unexpected glitches before cleaning up after removing the old fence. An August 2019 review describes repairing an old oil-and-stone driveway full of potholes with tar and stone, replacing fencing and a garden gate set low enough to keep the dog in, and power washing the deck. A November 2019 customer hired Angelo for an excavation project, a gravel driveway and a hedge, and said the team cleaned up after each day's work. In an April 2020 review, Angelo came out the day after the request to quote a fence repair, at a price the customer called very reasonable. The newer accounts are fewer. A January 2025 review praises the estimating, planning and installation and recommends the company for complicated situations, and a November 2025 customer says the crew cleaned out a whole apartment at the last minute. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0703511, is expired; the state lists it as inactive due to non-renewal of the credential, under WESTPORT CONTRACTORS.
