Wilcox Tree Service says on its website that it has been in business for 15 years. A recent customer says Jake and his team have been at their house twice; they came at 7am and were already working before the customer was home from work, cleaned up everything, and picked up a pile of tree branches the customers had already started taking down. Another recent customer says Wilcox arrived early, explained the work, addressed their questions, did the work in no time and cleaned up the property. A third recent customer says they have used Wilcox for 4 different tree removal projects, some small and some large, that scheduling is easy, and that it did it all for lower prices than the other companies in the area. In a 2026 review, a customer said they hired Wilcox once to remove stumps and again to remove some very large trees, and that Jake's communication was top-notch. In a 2025 review, a customer said Wilcox Tree Service did extensive tree removal work for them, was on time and efficient, and did extensive clean up after the removal of the trees. In a June 2025 r/keene thread, posters recommended Wilcox, and a poster who had it cut multiple hemlocks said its prices were competitive with other places they called.
“Third for Wilcox. Cut multiple hemlocks for our house. Actually price wise, they were competitive if not way better than other places we called.”
“Second Wilcox. Not always the cheapest but professional.”
“I'd check in with Wilcox Tree Service”

Wilcox is the best... We have had Jake and his team at our house 2x now. They came to the house at 7am, b4 I was even home from work n was already working. The entire team worked hard, cleaned up everything, was professional n courteous. They even picked up the pile of tree branches that we had already started taking down that were partially broken off. My husband and I appreciate Jake and the entire crew and will deff have u back again for the rest of the trees we need taken down.
Wilcox Tree did a great job. Arrived early, explained the work, addressed my questions and did the work in no time. Cleaned up the property and they were on their way. My grandkids actually slept over the night before so as to be there for the entire show! They were very accommodating to the kid’s interest and excitement as well!
We’ve used Wilcox for 4 different tree removal projects now. Some small, some large. Scheduling is easy, they are prompt and professional every time, and did it all for lower prices than the other companies in the area.
Wilcox Tree Service is amazing! We hired them once to remove stumps, and they were so good that we hired them again to remove some very large trees. Jake's communication is top-notch, they arrive on time, and they clean everything up! What more could you ask for? I would highly recommend them.
True professionals. Very pleased with the extensive tree removal work done for us by Wilcox Tree Service. I rarely leave reviews, but am doing so in this case as they deserve recognition. They were on time, efficient, and did extensive clean up after the removal of the trees. I highly recommend.
