Window Medics LLC

I built a house full of Rivco windows more than 30 years ago, and over time I'd estimate that 20 of them have failed. The gasket that maintains the vacuum between the panes ruptures, moisture gets in, and the windows fog up. I didn't want to start replacing windows, so I searched for alternatives, and I landed on Window Medics. They instructed me on how to replace just the glass, maintaining the wood frames, and that was it. At first it was intimidating work because it's glass, of course, but it's not difficult. I know I've saved thousands of dollars by avoiding unnecessary full window replacements, and you probably can too. I can't speak too highly of Window Medics and the support they have provided over the years.

I would look elsewhere. I ordered replacement screens, and provided a picture of the sticker on the window which includes the make and model of the window. It took about 6 weeks to get the screens, and one screen didn't fit because it was the wrong type of screen for the window. I took pictures of the screen with the tape measure, along with the window with a tape measure showing all the dimensions and why they would not fit. It took 2 months to have them modify the screen and then when I go to put it in it was the wrong size again, this time too small. I emailed back about it and their response was "I'm at a loss"...So I'm out $200 for one screen because "The Window Medics" could not properly provide a screen using the window manufacturers label with all the information. I was not able to receive a refund, and the only thing i received was an email saying "I'm at a loss" and would not provide any other help. So overall I'm down $200 and three months of my time.
