WINDOW WORLD OF SOUTHERN MAINE

Window World of Southern Maine describes itself on the BBB as providing home exterior remodeling products and services, including windows, doors, siding and shutters. Its website claims 13 years in business and lists a service area that runs from Westbrook and Portland out to counties including York, Cumberland, Androscoggin and Kennebec. A recent customer had a bay window swapped for a garden window and two windows over the sink swapped for one big window, and said the three men installing them were professional, friendly and fast. That customer said the garden window was suggested as an affordable option. Price is what moved a recent customer who came in through a Facebook ad. That customer said another company had quoted over six figures for 4 doors and 11 windows, while Window World quoted 3 doors and 19 windows for half the price, and that the sales rep did not talk down about the competition. A recent customer singled out Rafe and the install crew, while saying they could not speak to the corporate business. A recent customer said they were helpful in explaining window function and what they were doing. On the BBB, a customer wrote that they would not recommend Window World because it does not follow through on problems after the installation.
