When an ice-laden white pine split at the base and fell onto a house and carport, a 2025 customer called Woodland TreeWorks LLC, and that customer wrote that Ben arrived within 30 minutes. The same 2025 customer said the crew worked in the rain and freezing cold on a Sunday, climbed in among the branches on the roof to install an emergency patch over the leak, and over the next few days removed the tree branch by branch. That 2025 customer also wrote that the wood chips, pine needles and sawdust were cleaned up, and that one of the crew saved a handcrafted wooden squirrel house that had been attached to the tree.
The company says on its website that it has been in business 20 years, and it lists Orange, West Haven, Milford and Woodbridge in its service area. Its BBB profile describes tree removal, pruning, cabling, bracing, planting and risk assessments for residential and commercial clients, and its BBB grade is A+.
A recent customer says Ben worked with them to get a big arborvitae back up after a storm took it out of the ground, and that it looks like it never fell. A 2025 customer said a very large tree quite close to the house was removed safely and quickly, and that everything was cleaned up. A 2025 customer described pruning back parts of four trees away from the home without over cutting the branches, after an in-person look at the job and a quote that customer called very reasonable. A 2025 customer had two trees removed and another trimmed and said no damage was left to the yard. A 2026 customer who had used Woodland twice called it the least disruptive tree crew around, noise-wise. A 2024 customer described a quick tree removal at a competitive price.
