A screeching garage door became quiet and smooth after 1stGarageDoor Service replaced old rollers with nylon ones and adjusted the travel limit, according to an August 2026 Google reviewer. The customer described the repair as quick and efficient. Another August reviewer praised the customer service and fast turnaround. In a December 2025 review, a customer said a small issue had grown into a bigger problem before they called. They described an on-time, prepared arrival and credited technician Mike with diagnosing and fixing the problem while explaining the work. Both accounts recommended the company.

highly recommend. great customer service and fast turnaround.
Garage door started making this horrendous screech whenever we opened it, like something out of a horror movie. I was half-expecting it to drop on my car. The tech came, saw the ancient rollers had been neglected for who knows how long, and swapped them out with new nylon ones. Did some tweaks with the travel limit too, and it's smooth as butter now. No more thinking my garage was going to implode every time I left the house. Quick, efficient, and a real relief for my ears (and nerves).
It started as a small issue and turned into a big problem, and calling them was the best decision I made. They showed up exactly on time and were fully prepared. Mike, the technician, handled the problem diagnosis and fix perfectly and explained what they were doing. I highly recommend 1stGarageDoor Service for anyone needing this kind of service.
