4 Cannons

What moving comp do you know that would move you safely and in a Nor’easter storm?? My family consists of 8 females! We have always gotten things done, don't second guess and handle whatever we have to do without help. I live out of state and set up a reservation with Chris to move my sister, mother and niece. From the beginning he was comforting to speak with. No sales pitch or ideas of what he could do for me. I mentioned my whole dilemma and he listened with intent. My sister drove a Penske truck moving from Palm Coast Fl back to Norwich Ct (in the nor'easter at that) with a truck filled with a 3 bedroom house. She packed up the truck and drove straight through by herself preparing that she'd have to count on all of us to help move half of this into 3 bdrm apartment on the 3rd floor and the rest into a storage unit. I couldn't make the trip to come from Boston to help and hired Chris and another gentlemen to come into my family's home to help without being physically there. By the end of the 4 1/2 hours, the truck was unpacked (oh and there was a trailer attached to the Penske that broke and they worked around it to still bring their belongings up) and they kindly helped out bringing the remainder to the storage unit. My mother stayed behind at the apartment when my sister and niece drove the moving truck to the storage unit and immediately called me when they finished. The first thing she said when I picked up my phone was "Wow! they were absolutely amazing!!! We need to write them a review". Not even 20 mins later I got a call from my sister and niece as they were driving back the empty truck from the storage unit and finished up with Chris and his helper. She was ecstatic!!! She said “Omg I never used a moving company before CJ, I can’t believe the job that they did.”. She then proceeded to tell me all of the obstacles in the way that they still worked around and helped with. Thank you for making such an amazing impression for her first experience and showing her moving can be easy. To impress a woman like my sister who hauls 30+ tons of garage daily for a living and myself who prides in delivering packages for UPS to my customer’s doorstep, is all I think I need to say if anyone is considering hiring them!!! I can't thank you guys enough for taking care of my family, for your hard work, your professionalism and courtesy and for helping out a bunch of ladies while making them feel safe! I would highly recommend using 4 Cannons for your next moving project! Thank you

I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt I should share my experience as I chose this company based off of everybody else’s reviews. I hired this company for a small moving job. Before we agreed on a time, I mentioned that I was open all morning, but once we set a time, I expected them to arrive around that agreed-upon time. They were about an hour late, and I had to call to make sure they were still coming. When they arrived, the owner’s helper was very petite in size & nearly fell down the stairs while carrying the furniture, which was concerning from a safety standpoint; towards the end, the furniture did slam on the ground bc it’s slipped off of the petite man’s hands. My honest advice would be to consider paying a little more for a smother move because now I have to pay for my furniture to get fixed as it was scuffed up.
