4 Daughters Landscape & Tree Service, based in Lynn, is built around tree work as much as routine yard care — HomeAdvisor's profile for the business identifies it as a renamed continuation of the earlier MC Tree Service / MC Landscaping brand, run by the same owner, Noé (also written Noe, Neo). Recent reviews keep circling back to the same two things: big trees taken down cleanly, and yards that come out spotless afterward — a June 2026 review called the crew thorough after they transformed an overgrown yard front and back, pulling poison ivy and weeding to perfection, and a May 2026 review described five large trees removed with, in the customer's words, remarkable speed and precision. The tree-removal jobs run deep and specific. In a 2025 review, a 60-foot drying maple that had been dropping limbs was taken down, with the customer specifically praising the tree climber's attention to safety; in a 2023 review, a massive tree and its branches came down while the crew left zero wood chips or debris anywhere, on the property or next door; a 2022 review described two large pines removed, one of which had been struck by lightning and threatened to fall on the house. On the landscaping side, a 2023 review described a crabgrass-and-renovation-debris yard scraped, leveled and re-sodded in a single day, and a June 2026 review described weekly mowing plus seasonal cleanups, mulching and winter snow removal at what the customer called very competitive prices. HomeAdvisor rates the business 4.9★ from 92 ratings (90% five-star), and Thumbtack shows 4.8★ from 76. Two accounts stand apart. A July 2026 review — not from a paying customer, but from a neighboring property owner — said the crew climbed a tree on their land and removed large branches without asking while working for the neighbor next door. Separately, a 2022 review described a promised contract that never arrived and an unexpected charge for removing stump-grinding debris, which the customer said caused friction before the job was finished, even while calling the finished work itself excellent. Both are worth raising directly, especially property-line boundaries on any job near a shared lot line. A strong pick for real tree work — storm-damaged trees, big removals, stump grinding — as well as ongoing lawn care, with a deep, mostly five-star record behind it; just confirm property boundaries and get charges in writing up front.
My neighbors hired these guys and the climbed a tree on my property and took down huge (7-8 inch) branches without asking us. This removed privacy from our yard without our permission. They were climbing higher into the tree when I came outside and stopped them.
Our yard was overgrown and out of control. They trimmed trees, cut back bushes, mowed the lawn, weeded and mulched the areas where there isn’t grass. Yard looks great! Would recommend
Excellent service. Easy to work with. Very thorough. Hardworking crew. Transformed my mess of a yard into a much improved yard front and back. Even pulled out a lot of poison ivy that was invading my flower beds and weeded and wacked to perfection!
I found Noé through Thumbtack, and he came to my property within 48 hours for a free consultation about removing bittersweet, poison ivy, and clearing some old brush. While the work is yet to be done -- and I will post a follow-up review -- I wanted to praise his willingness to drive to my home, share his expertise, and negotiate a fair price.
Despite weather issues throughout the scheduling, they were fast, efficient, and friendly. Good job!
