4th Generation Wood Floor Services sands and refinishes hardwood floors. Its website describes taking a scratched or stained floor back to raw wood, then applying a custom stain color or keeping it natural before sealing everything. A 2023 Google customer said Armand Turner came to install pre-finished boards to replace some water-damaged ones, then told them the ordered flooring would not match and suggested refinishing the whole floor instead. That 2023 customer wrote that he replaced a couple of boards near the front door, matched the wood, and cleaned up at the end, even vacuuming the walls. In a 2017 Houzz review, a first-time homeowner said Armand walked them through the process and worked on the weekend after the original hardwood under some laminate tiles brought surprises that made the job run longer than expected. In a 2015 Houzz review, a customer said Armand and his team restored and refinished the wood floors in a nearly 100-year-old home, finished a day early, and charged exactly what they had quoted.
Spectacular quality and superior superior customer service. Armand is a highly detailed and skilled craftsman. His flooring installations and finishing techniques are the best around. His knowledge and experience trumps that of anyone else in the industry. I wouldn't consider anyone else when looking for a trustworthy, honest and friendly contractor.
We are more than pleased with the results! Armand Turner was just what we needed. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, competent, neat, and kind. He went above and beyond to get us a solution that worked. He originally came to install pre-finished wood flooring to replace some water damaged boards. However, when he arrived to install them, he told us the flooring that had been ordered wouldn't match, it was a different wood. He took it upon himself to call and make sure the pre-finished flooring could be returned. Then he suggested that the floor be refinished. This sounded very good to us as the whole floor was old and needed to be refinished. We hadn’t liked it since we bought the place. He assured us the water damage in the one area would come out in the sanding, and that there was no mold problem. He took extra time to get the floor perfect. Armand replaced a couple of boards near the front door and matched the wood perfectly. The floor came out more beautiful than we could have imagined. At the end he cleaned up, even vacuuming the walls. I can't speak highly enough of him!
Armand and his team were great to work with and very helpful along the way. I am a first-time homeowner (duplex) and he walked me through the process. I was even in my rental unit working on other projects while he was doing some of the work and he was giving me helpful tips outside the scope of his work. He also worked on the weekend to make sure he got the job done when I needed it - there were some unexpected surprises when I tore up the laminate tiles to expose the original hardwood underneath that took the job longer than originally expected. Would definitely recommend.
Armand and his team did a great job restoring/refinishing the wood floors in our nearly 100 year old home. He was even able to tell us what types of wood flooring are in our new home, as there are a few different types. The finished result was amazing, the team worked efficiently (finished a day early), and it cost exactly what we were quoted. My wife and I would definitely hire Armand and his team again!
