A 2026 customer wrote that Neal was several hours late, started the work on the third visit, got into a fight with his helper, who left, and did not finish the job. A 2026 reviewer wrote "Very rude" and "Zero people skills." A 2025 customer said the plumber arrived 2 hours late with no explanation, demanded payment before producing an invoice, and took hours to snake a drain. A 2025 customer said a washing machine valve replacement took 9 hours at $250 an hour. A 2023 customer said clearing a clogged toilet took Neil 4 hours and cost $700. That 2023 customer said the toilet backed up the following week, the seal did not hold, and water leaked through the drywall into the living room below. The same 2023 customer said Neil did not take responsibility and was unresponsive afterward. Very rude. This guy could talk himself out of any job. Zero people skills.
If I could I would give Neal 0 stars. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a trade. Several hours late and the third Time out he finally started the work he ended up getting in to a fight with his helper and helper left. Neal is extremely slow highly unprofessional. Didn’t finish the job. I really am on here to hopefully prevent anyone from going through the same experience and wast of time as I did.

I am very dissatisfied with the service this company provided. For a simple washing machine valve replacement he spent 9 hours and charged me hourly rate of $250/hour. A competent plumber shouldn't spent that much hours replacing washing machine valves. He claims he is very proficient in his job, but He clearly doesn't know what he is doing. He is very good in making up stories about his work and profession. He is a scammer.
I am very satisfied with A1 Plumbing and will contact them in the future for all of my plumbing needs. Neil is very professional, honest and reliable. He installed 2 gas lines for an outdoor kitchen and generator and did a fantastic job. He provided fair pricing and completed the job in the timeframe that was promised. I highly recommend Neil & A1 Plumbing to friends, family and anyone in need of plumbing or heating repairs or installation.
