A boiler pipe burst and the homeowner braced for a long wait. Clark and a crew of three were there in twenty minutes. While they had the pipe open they went through the rest of the system, found a broken water pressure tank and a well-pump sediment filter that was badly clogged, and had both replaced inside two hours with the parts already on the truck. That August 2026 account is not an outlier here — it is the house style. Ryder works out of Manchester, and what customers write about first is how fast the phone gets answered. A March 2023 reviewer whose hot water died on the Friday before a storm said the plumbers they had known for years could not come until the following week; Clarke replied within fifteen minutes, was at the house within hours, and had it fixed in forty-five minutes. In February 2026, in the middle of a blizzard, another said Ryder still came through and got the heat back on. Both of its New Hampshire plumbing licences are active in the state registry: the company's own, MBE2201423, and Clarke F Ryder's individual licence, 1809101. The BBB grades it A+, has accredited it, and also lists a gas fitter number, GF1809638. Across 279 Google ratings the average sits at 5.0, on 235 written reviews since 2022 — thirty-one of them in the last six months. The work runs well past emergencies. Reviewers describe an AC replacement in July 2026, kitchen-remodel plumbing with kickspace heaters in April 2026, three bathrooms re-plumbed with both the rough and the finish work in January 2025, a basement mini-split heat pump, a tankless system, a well pump pulled and repaired the morning after a Friday-night diagnosis, and coffee equipment plumbed in for a café opening. Options and prices come up again and again: technicians laying out three quoted choices, or, in a January 2023 case, replacing as few parts as possible and photographing the old against the new. The one dissenting review is worth reading. In December 2025 a customer whose furnace began blowing cold air on the Saturday night before Thanksgiving said Ryder sent a technician first thing Monday, who spent the whole day on it and replaced several sensors, the main board on their propane furnace, and a thermostat after their Ecobee was accidentally fried during the work — and that the furnace ran only a few hours before the same fault returned. For an emergency — a burst pipe, a dead furnace, no hot water before a storm — this is about as consistent a record as the trade produces. On a complex repeat fault, settle in advance what happens if the first fix does not hold.

Ryder plumbing was easy to deal with. Provided next day service for our shower leak. Mark H. the tech was phenomenal. Pleasant to deal with and kept us informed of what he was doing and the estimate for the work before doing it. Very pleased with the service and recommend Ryder highly.
