On its website the company says it is locally owned and operated, not a franchise, and it claims 58 years in business. It carries a 4.9-star Google rating from 17 ratings and an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau. A 2025 Google reviewer said Josh helped clean an attic in their mother's new home that had white mold everywhere, and took before-and-after pictures. That 2025 customer, who lives far from the home, said Josh kept them updated by text and alerted them when the home's heater did not turn on. A 2025 Google reviewer who needed mold testing and remediation said Josh recommended cleaning the heating and air conditioning system, and they cleaned the dryer vent while there; that 2025 customer called the prices very reasonable. A 2025 Google reviewer said Josh cleaned a sectional and chairs covered in cat hair. In a 2020 review, a customer buying a foreclosed property said an inspection found mold in the attic, and Josh came out right away, ran an air quality test and gave a remediation quote within a day. A 2014 customer said a washer flooded a family room and a fully carpeted basement bedroom, and the insurance company contacted Adams Emergency One and paid the bill.
