"Sanding them would be a waste of money" — that advice, in a June 2021 Angi review, saved one customer close to $1,000 when Adeidson Wood Floors suggested a buff and coat instead of a full refinish. The customer said Dee, as Adeidson is called in several reviews, was the only one of 6 contractors to offer that option. The company refinishes and installs hardwood floors, says it has been in business 22 years, and holds 18 HomeAdvisor ratings and 18 Angi ratings, each averaging 5.0. The written reviews run from 2020 to 2024. In a June 2021 review, a customer refinishing two floors of a house said Adeidson has a machine that captures the dust, and a January 2021 reviewer said they noticed no dust on the walls. An October 2021 customer described the crew moving the furniture out of three rooms, sanding, applying three coats of satin finish and returning everything to its place. In a February 2023 review, a customer said the job was done in one day, and a November 2021 reviewer said Adeidson worked around their painting contractor to get floors in before a move. A September 2024 review said the crew finished on time and his comments helped with decisions. The company's site lists hardwood floor refinishing, installation, repair and restoration, plus vinyl and laminate installation, and offers free estimates. Connecticut lists its home improvement registration, HIC.0699991, held by Adeidson Wood Floors LLC, as inactive due to non-renewal of the credential.
