ZN Construction

A recent customer hired ZN Construction to remodel an entire first floor, including the kitchen, bathroom, living room, entryway and office, into an open floor plan. The company's website lists bathroom and kitchen renovations, flooring, custom carpentry and trim, decks, and windows and doors, names Canton, Simsbury, Farmington, Burlington, West Hartford, New Hartford and Avon as its service area, and says it has been in business for 7 years. A 2026 customer said ZN removed a bathtub-shower combination and replaced it with a walk-in shower, and that questions and requests for changes in scope were answered quickly. A 2026 customer said Chad and Eric built custom built-in bookshelves and a brick fireplace surround. A 2025 customer said Zac showed up one day after water damage hit the house; the kitchen had to be demolished, and warped hardwood on the main level was removed and replaced. A 2025 customer said ZN tiled the tub and shower, added a new bathtub, installed a glass shower door and added tile from floor to ceiling. A 2024 customer said ZN fit a single broken window in between larger projects, and that the price was exactly as originally quoted. A 2024 customer had a front door cut into a house built in 1860. In 2021, a customer said ZN was not the lowest of three roof bids but offered the premium materials and warranties they wanted, and that the crew swept the driveway for nails and debris. A 2026 commenter on r/Connecticut wrote that ZN won't be the lowest estimate on a project. A 2025 Google reviewer gave one star and called the receptionist "WILDLY disrespectful." Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0649936, as active, held by ZN Construction and Contracting LLC.
