Four companies looked at one family's boiler before Vinny Russo did, according to a February 2025 Google review — the answers ranged from a $15k replacement to a cleaning, and the family had spent thousands on failed diagnostics. Russo knew within minutes what was needed, quoted a price the customer called very reasonable, had the part overnighted, and they had heat all winter without a full replacement. Aegis Comfort Systems is a Merrimack, New Hampshire heating and air conditioning contractor; the company says it installs, replaces and services furnaces, boilers, heat pumps and central air, with 24/7 service and free estimates. Its website names Vinnie Russo as Owner/CEO and says the company has been in business 30 years. Its New Hampshire HVAC license, GFE0701032, is active, held by Vincent A Russo, Jr. The BBB rates it A+. A December 2024 Reddit commenter in r/nashua called Vinnie Russo excellent and fair with pricing. Google shows 5 stars from 2 ratings.
“Aegis, located in Merrimack. Vinnie Russo is excellent and fair with pricing.”
10/10 highly recommend! We had 4 companies come out to look at our boiler and were told anything from its 15k to replace to it just needs to be cleaned, we spent thousands on failed diagnostics. With winter approaching and 2 kids we were extremely worried, then we were referred to Vinny. Within minutes knew what needed to be done for a very reasonable price and had the part overnighted. Turns out we didn't need a full replacement and have had heat all winter.
