That split is the first thing to know about this Hampton, New Hampshire outfit, which describes itself as family- and veteran-run, with 10 employees and 12 years of work behind it. What its recent customers describe is mostly the front end of a job. One hired the crew in May for new deck-and-porch construction and came away talking about the estimate: samples on site, notes taken, then a written quote listing every product within a day, and it landed below what they had expected. When questions came up afterwards, the owner drove back out to the house to walk through them. In February, another customer had a camp parking lot plowed out right after a heavy snowfall. Keegan Hornstra is the name on the account, background-checked through Thumbtack in June 2021. The reviewed history reaches back to 2017, all of it on that one platform, with no second directory to compare it against. The service list runs to 30 entries, from fence and gate installation and repair through excavation, grading and carpentry to snow plowing, which is a wide spread for a 10-person crew. A sensible call for deck, carpentry or site work around Hampton, particularly if a clear written estimate matters to you. Given the share of one-star ratings, ask for two or three recent references in the specific trade you are hiring for, and confirm licensing and insurance before anyone starts.

They are on time, friendly, had samples, took notes and quality explainations. He quoted a rough price and within a days time I received my estimate with all the products that will be used and he came below what I thought. I have also had questions since and he came right out to the house and explained what I wanted to know. He estimated the time to begin my job will roughly be by the end of the month. AK Property Services came out and assessed the situation (at no cost) to give me an accurate quote on my project. After agreeing upon the terms, they worked quickly and efficiently to complete my project ahead of schedule. They were great to work with and I would definitely recommend them. Keegan is committed to professional excellence and meets the desired landscaping goals of the home owner. He was able to make our vision a reality. We have a sloping backyard that required knowledge of water drainage, methods of addressing problem, ability to attractively landscape the land to fit the style of our home.
