Al's Rubbish & Container Service describes itself on its website as a Sutton, Massachusetts rubbish removal company offering weekly residential trash pickup, roll-off dumpster rentals, junk car removal, clean-outs and recycling across Worcester County. The site says Al Gerard started it with one truck and 15 dumpsters after leaving a district manager job at Friendly's Ice Cream, and that the company celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2021. A recent customer said 3 guys showed up for a house clean-out 24 hours after the call, and that they swept up when done. A recent customer who has used them a few times for a dumpster at the house said booking is easy and that they give all the info up front about what is allowed, though the price ran a bit higher than some others around the Milford/Hopedale area. A 2026 customer said Colby, Nate and Mike removed a loveseat and piano for half the price of other movers in the area, and that Colby arranged to come out the next day. A 2025 customer said they cleared out a couple of units tenants had left full of furniture and trash. A 2025 customer rented a 20-yard bin for a backyard deck tear-down and said it arrived right on time. A 2024 customer described an estate clean-out of roughly 60 yards that included a giant heavy piano. A recent Nextdoor post from Sutton named the company alongside Pratt Trucking in Oxford and reported "great experiences with both companies." Its BBB page shows an A+ grade and accreditation. A recent customer gave one star and wrote "Parks in the middle of the roads and sits on phone." A 2023 customer said Al asked whether there was anything unique in their mother's estate he might be interested in, called the conversation inappropriate, and said they would not hire the company. A 2022 customer gave one star for "Rude truck drivers."

Responsive and super easy to work with, quality results. They did a house clean-out for us after I called one day and 3 guys were there 24 hours later. Job went really well, fast and efficient - even swept up when done. Definitely recommend.
Parks in the middle of the roads and sits on phone
The best trash company around. They go above and beyond the call of duty and are very friendly. I recommend them 100%.
Exceptional service. We’ve used them a few times for a dumpster at our house for a clean out and it’s always super easy to book. They provide reliable delivery and pick up. They give you all the info up front so you know what’s allowed or not. A bit more expensive than some others around the Milford/Hopedale area but worth knowing you can call and they will have one available for you. Highly recommend
Colby, Nate and Mike were responsive, polite, and friendly. The price to remove a loveseat and piano was half of other movers in the area. When Colby heard that I was only in town for 3 days to help my elderly aunt, he made arrangements to come out the next day. I would recommend this company to anyone in the Worcester area who has furniture removal.
