Twenty-seven written reviews run from 2021 through 2025, and the Google average sits at five stars across 29 ratings. The jobs behind them are unusually varied. A November 2025 review describes roofs and gutters replaced on a 130-year-old West Roxbury house and its detached garage; a June 2025 one covers a full renovation of a 1960s condo — new kitchen cabinets and appliances, updated wiring, a new bath, new flooring. In October 2025 a customer with a building issue had a quote and the work under way inside two days, and in December 2025 another wrote that Eric had just finished their kitchen renovation. The exterior and carpentry work shows up mostly in older accounts. A September 2024 customer had 22 windows replaced and wrote about being kept informed and having every choice checked over more than once. A September 2023 review describes a 115-year-old two-family stripped and re-sided in vinyl; an April 2024 one, a siding job on a Salem building that left the site tidier than it was found. Decks and porches recur: AZEK radiance rails in place of rotting porch railings in March 2023, and a 34-by-28 deck with half its frame and the front porch in November 2022. On price, a May 2022 reviewer said Eric was not the lowest bidder and went with him anyway; a November 2023 one calls the prices fair. One May 2025 review raises a snag worth knowing about: on a patio and back staircase built in AZEK, the customer wrote that attention to detail was missing at first and that it was corrected promptly. Ask how corrections and punch-list items get handled before work starts. For an older house that needs several trades at once — a roof, a re-side, a deck and a bathroom — this is a one-crew answer. Confirm the licence and insurance before signing, get the scope and schedule in writing, and settle who comes back for callbacks.
