Rodrigo's Painting

Rodrigo's Painting gets hired for the prep as much as the paint. A homeowner writing in October 2025 watched the crew scrape the old coat off the entire house, sand it, prime it and repaint — with a recommendation on which paint brand and model to use for that job. The Lynn company says it has been painting for 15 years, and that Rodrigo, its founder, is on site for every project. On Google it carries a 5.0 across 107 ratings, and reviewers keep coming back to what happens before the brush. In a January 2025 job the crew scraped and reglazed original windows, stripped years of paint build-up off porch columns and doors, and caulked the gaps. A Boxford homeowner writing in 2022 said the quote was fair, the crew showed up on time and the job site stayed clean and safe throughout. The work isn't only walls. In May 2026 a customer had wrought iron scraped back to bare metal and repainted, the porch top and walkway pad redone, and concrete repaired at the downstairs entry — three guys, done in a day. A December 2025 reviewer had the crew build out an entire finished basement from start to finish: floor install, drywall, carpentry and paint. In April 2026 another had the house power washed, the shed repaired and painted, and all the shutters done. Scheduling comes up nearly as often as the finish. One new homeowner, referred in March 2026 by two former neighbors, called and had Rodrigo at the door with an estimate 25 minutes later. In August 2025 a couple had the interior of their older home repainted around a planned vacation and came home to a finished job, and a December 2024 customer had 30-year-old kitchen cabinets brought back to looking new. The one rough note is from December 2025. A customer who said the wall patching was invisible — they couldn't tell where the patches were — still lowered a five-star rating to three because of something the company had promised. Get any promised extra written onto the estimate, with a date, before work starts. For an older house that needs the tedious part done properly — scraping, reglazing, priming — before it gets repainted inside or out, this is the crew for it. Confirm how many people will be on site and the finish date up front, along with anything you are told will be included.
