BuildZoom lists Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration #150448, issued 30 May 2026 — the directory's own record rather than a registry check. It also lists construction supervisor licence CS-092706 and two City of Newton licences under #92706 as inactive, saying each was at one point cancelled. For a straight roof replacement that may not bite; for anything touching structure it would. A sensible call for the strip-and-reroof work that plainly makes up the bulk of the history. Ask for two or three roofs finished in the past year that you can drive past, and check the current registration and supervisor status yourself with Consumer Affairs and the Department of Public Safety before you sign.
