Alec Belanger is a Billerica, MA handyman who specializes in low-voltage AV and wiring work - TV mounting, home theater and surround-sound installs, smart-home setups, and ethernet wiring - and has been operating for about a year according to his Thumbtack profile. In a January 2026 review, a customer said Alec wired up their ethernet to a switch and called him a nice guy worth recommending. An October 2025 review described him resolving a surround sound system and taking the time to explain the process clearly. Thumbtack shows him at a perfect 5.0 across his listed ratings, alongside a background check completed under his own name in October 2025. Worth knowing: this is a new, small operation with only a couple of reviews on file so far, so there isn't much history yet to judge consistency by. For smaller AV, wiring, or home-theater jobs, the reviews on file point to careful, well-explained work. Confirm current availability and get a written estimate before booking anything larger.
