Alfred Electric is an electrician in Attleboro, MA; a 2023 review names Justin as the owner. It holds an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau, and licence number 22581 is listed on its Better Business Bureau profile. A 2026 Google review calls the service fast, responsive, on time, organized and clean. Another 2026 review says he addressed all of my issues, completed the job in a very timely fashion, went out of his way to make sure there was no mess left, and communicated in advance by text. After a fuse was blown in an apartment in 2025, he helped fix the breakers and explained how to reset them properly. In another 2025 review, Ian came to the house over a suspected outlet problem, found the outlet was fine, and did not charge because it took less than 5 minutes. In a 2024 review, a call to Alfred's Electric got power restored within 5 minutes after 3 days without it; National Grid had never flipped the switch, and there was no charge. A separate 2024 review says Justin and his team re-wired an Attleboro home to meet fire code in 2019 and stayed within the estimated time frame. Also in 2024, an outdoor post outlet was relocated and mounted and an ice melt wire re-secured; Justin looked at photos in advance and provided some options, with pricing disclosed up front. In 2023, Justin gave a verbal estimate from pictures to replace a stairwell fan, then he and an employee hung the fan the same day, hooked up the wall switch, cleaned up and took the old fan and materials away. Older jobs include the electrical work for a new pool in 2017, and in 2016 relocating the power lines to a house so siding could be installed, then re-attaching them when the siding work was completed. A 2016 review lists a dedicated 20 Amp power line using 10/2 AWG wire and EATON whole house surge protection installed in the main electric panel. In 2023, after a customer cancelled a return visit 3 times over 3 weeks while their house was unsafe to enter following a boiler failure, Justin demanded a service fee; that customer says no cancellation policy had been mentioned anywhere. A 2018 review called the work very expensive.
Fast, responsive, on time, organized and clean. Will hire again, and recommend!
Very professional, very thorough and very friendly. Addressed all of my issues, answered my questions and completed the job in a very timely fashion. Also, went out of his way to make sure there was no mess left for me to clean up. Excellent communication in advance by text. If I could have, I would’ve left a 10 star review!
I called him in a pinch this morning after a fuse was blown in the apartment. He was super friendly right off the bat and seemed to genuinely care about our situation! He helped me fix the breakers/also understand better what was happening and how to reset them properly (it's only our second time having to deal with this in this apartment so I took notes!)I was so grateful!!!
