A defective EV charger led to a return installation in one customer's March 2023 Google account of Furman Electric. The customer said the company installed a Level 2 home charger, contacted the manufacturer to explain the defect and order a replacement, then came back to install it after the customer received it. They praised the company's professionalism. Older homeowners described other electrical work. In an April 2017 BuildZoom review, a customer said their general contractor had subcontracted Mr. Furman for all electrical work on their home. They then hired him themselves for the electrical work in a detached garage and said he pointed out things they had missed in their design. A September 2012 reviewer said Charlie helped with lighting design for a timberframe home in Wrentham. In December 2023, another Google customer praised quick completion of their job. There are also complaints. A February 2014 BuildZoom reviewer called Charles Furman unprofessional, alleged that all three employees were unlicensed and did not seem to know what they were doing, and said Charles did not treat the job as a priority. That reviewer also said the work passed inspection. In September 2025, a Google reviewer complained that the driver of Van 12 almost caused numerous accidents on I-95 north. BuildZoom shows 142 projects and lists electrician licence numbers for Massachusetts and Vermont, plus two Rhode Island licence numbers. These are BuildZoom's listings.
Van 12. Horrible driver. Almost caused numerous accidents on 95 north.
Their service was great! They got the job done quick and fast.
I used Furman Electric to install a Level 2 home EV charger. The service was great and I was completely satisfied with their professionalism. We even had an issue with the charger being defective and Furman Electric contacted the manufacturer on my behalf to explain the defect and order a replacement, which they then came back and installed once I received the replacement. I would highly recommend this company for installing home / business EV charging stations.
The general contractor in charge of building our home had subbed out Mr. Furman to handle all electrical work for the home. We felt that Mr. Furman did such an impeccable job, that we then subbed him out ourselves for handling all facets of electrical work in our detached garage. Mr. Furman went out of his way not only catering to our every needs, but bringing things to our attention, that we had missed in our own primitive design. We highly recommend Mr. Furman, along with his team for any electrical need. He is definitely a Master at his craft.
Charles Furman was the most unprofessional contractor i had work at my house. All 3 of his employees were unliscensed and did not seem like they knew what they were doing. Charles himself did not treat the job like it was a priority. The work did pass inspection.
