All Gas Heating & Cooling is a small Sandwich shop that Cape homeowners call when the heat quits. The BBB profile dates the business to June 2000 and lists it as an S corporation with five employees, with Christopher and Kimberly Menslage named as its presidents; BuildZoom's licence records name Kimberly Menslage as the owner. The state registry backs the core credential: Massachusetts HVAC licence 626-SM-B is verified active, held under the name All Gas Heating And Cooling Inc. BuildZoom separately lists an active Massachusetts sheet metal business licence and an active gas fitting business licence, and ties 72 permitted jobs to the company, mostly gas and HVAC work in Falmouth, Yarmouth and Pocasset. Speed is the thread running through what customers write. In a January 2026 review, a homeowner whose 20-year-old furnace died on a day with a high of 20 degrees had a technician at the house within 30 minutes; Chris and David then installed a new furnace and a new hot water heater in a day and a half, absorbing two decades of code changes along the way and keeping the house clean with a foot of snow on the ground. A 2023 reviewer who had All Gas replace an entire system described calling again when the A/C failed during a heat wave and having it running within an hour of a Saturday-morning visit. Another 2023 customer converted to an electric heat pump, cutting gas usage and collecting a substantial rebate. The smaller comments repeat the unglamorous things: arriving on the dot, explaining what was done and what should be done down the road, appointment reminders by call and text, cleanup before leaving, and pricing described as reasonable for the work and the time on site. Google shows 4.7 across 23 ratings, and the BBB gives the company an A+ grade, though the same profile notes it is not BBB accredited. Two things are worth raising before you book. BuildZoom lists a home improvement contractor registration, #139065, as inactive and at one point cancelled, while the sheet metal and gas fitting licences it lists are active, so ask which registration covers your job if the work drifts toward general remodeling rather than heating and cooling. And the written history is shallower than the rating count suggests: seven comments on file spanning 2022 to 2026, most of them from 2023, so the detailed picture of how a job goes is a few years old. For a furnace replacement, a heat pump conversion, a water heater or an A/C repair on the Upper Cape, this is a licensed, permit-active shop with a consistent history of showing up fast and finishing quickly. Verify the licence yourself with the state board, and get the scope and any rebate paperwork in writing before work starts.
I called All Gas to service a 20 year old furnace that died on a day with a high of 20°. All Gas had a tech to the house in 30-minutes. Unsurprisingly, the aged heater was beyond safe repair, but Chris and David were able to install a new furnace and a new hot water heater within a day and a half – and that was with the addition of the additional work that needed to keep up with the code changes over the past 20 years. Absolutely awesome work and attention to detail as well as going the effort with keeping the house clean, which isn't easy with a foot of snow on the ground. Can't recommend All Gas highly enough.
I contracted All Gas to replace my entire system a few years back and was extremely satisfied ! On the rare occasion I have needed service since, like last weekend when the A/C wasn't working during a heat wave, they were at my house 12 hours later on a Saturday AM, and had it running again within an hour. Recommend them highly !!
Through the experience & technical knowledge, it has been possible to convert to an electric heat pump system, dramatically reducing gas usage with a substantial rebate
