A failed AC unit brings several recent customers to Balanced HVAC, and they describe technicians getting cooling working again with prompt visits and explanations. The Sandwich company says it has served Cape Cod since 2003, names Lincoln as its owner, and offers residential heating, air conditioning, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits and air-quality services. Its stated area includes Sandwich, Bourne, Falmouth and Mashpee, along with other Cape communities. On Google, Balanced has a 5-star average from 722 ratings. Recent customers describe both repairs and replacements: one says the team installed a central AC unit and new lineset, while another credits Brandon and Kyle with installing mini-splits. A July reviewer says Matt arrived the same day, in less than two hours, helped restore the AC and provided recommendations and estimates. Another July customer says Jeremy arrived the next day after their AC failed in the heat, fixed the issue and also maintains their system annually. A separate customer says Jeremy checked the whole AC system and answered their questions. Older accounts describe heating work as well. In a December 2023 review, a customer described a repair visit followed by replacement of a furnace more than 20 years old, with integration improvements. A June 2024 reviewer described a new heat-pump installation, regular updates and help with Mass Save forms. In a May 2023 review, a customer said Jeromy replaced a capacitor and two filters for $348 after another technician had proposed a $7,000 system replacement. Its BBB grade is A+. Pricing and repair durability draw specific complaints. An April 2026 ductless-install customer praised the workers' professionalism but questioned the price for five hours of work. They said beige outdoor tube covering cost an extra $300, followed by another $300 for half an hour of installation, and advised getting a complete parts-and-labor breakdown before signing. In a July 2022 review, a customer said a $700 repair lasted only 48 hours. A December 2021 customer praised the technicians but described weekend emergency and diagnostic fees of $200 and $225, a four-day wait for a power switch, and difficulty getting through on the first phone number supplied. They said those fees were a hardship.
