Cape Cod Biofuels holds a 5-star Google rating from 44 ratings. The Sandwich company says it collects used cooking oil from local restaurants and refines it into biodiesel and Bioheat for home heating and fuel delivery across Cape Cod and the South Shore, and that it runs its own HVAC and plumbing service arm for its home customers. By its own account it was founded in 2008 by Andrew Davison and Jim Chace. A recent customer who had just moved into a home in Forestdale said there was barely any oil left in the middle of a cold snap, no company they called could provide same-day service, and Cape Cod Bio Fuels came to their rescue. A 2026 customer in Hyannis said other suppliers were quoting a 7 day delivery timescale for a last minute top up, and the company filled the tank within 3 hours. A 2025 customer said they ordered one day and the delivery arrived the very next day, with a driver they called thoughtful, pleasant and professional. On a first delivery, a 2025 customer said nothing near their fill connection got trampled or stepped on. Tank work appears as well: a 2025 customer said the company installed a double wall oil tank at their home in East Sandwich in a few hours. A 2025 customer who called with questions about her oil said the service guy went to the tank and checked it.
