Those updates come up a lot. Owners who were out of state during the job describe photos and texts arriving as the work went, and a 2024 customer who had a roof and skylights replaced wrote that every question got answered before anything came off. Speed shows up just as often: a 2022 job put a new roof and 50 feet of gutters on in a day and a half, including releading the chimney. So does the crew's conduct — a November 2025 customer noted that everyone on the roof was tied off, and reviewers through 2025 describe yards left the way they were found. The work is not only roofs: in April 2026 one customer had cedar shingles put on a gazebo, and another had siding, trim, soffits, a ridge vent, gutters, windows and a door done, with the chimney painted. Two one-star accounts run the other way. In June 2025 a customer wrote that the work was subpar and unprofessional, that safety codes were violated, and that shingles have come off the roof since All-Star repaired it. In June 2023 another said that after repeated promises to come by, nobody showed up for a roof leak. A June 2024 customer whose Cape roof needed a return visit reported the callback was prompt and scheduled around them. For a Cape roof — a leak that needs eyes on it this week, a full reroof, gutters and skylights alongside it — this is a crew that answers the phone and is often gone in a day. Get the workmanship warranty in writing, and if you are off-Cape, ask for the photo updates other owners got.
