Allegiance Contracting is a Revere-based handyman and small-remodel outfit run by Doug — the name behind every job in its Google review history, from drywall patches and crown molding to kitchen work and bathroom updates. Its Google page carries 27 reviews, all five stars, running from mid-2025 into 2026. The two most recent, from March and July of this year, describe a contractor who shows up on schedule, cleans up after each visit, and came in with the most reasonable of several competing estimates while feeling the most straightforward to work with. The deeper 2025 history fills in the specifics. In a February 2026 review, a homeowner described hiring several handymen who each visited once and never came back before Doug worked through a full list — a ceiling patch, repainting over water damage, loose shelving, a curtain rod, a garbage disposal, a ceiling fan — across two or three visits. Reviews from fall 2025 describe a kitchen remodeled 'from beginning to end' with the homeowner's original vision intact, crown molding installed throughout a house, and a laundry area diagnosed and repaired the day after the first call. A September 2025 review describes custom railings fabricated over a multi-stage job with regular updates, and a July 2025 review describes a bathroom renovation that started the day after the initial call and came in under budget. Several of the 2025 reviews also mention quotes returned within a day and no need to chase Doug down once work began. One thing worth knowing: Allegiance is brand new on Angi and HomeAdvisor, with no reviews yet on either, and Angi's own category tags for the business lean toward painting work — which lines up with a couple of the Google reviews (a repainted apartment, a refinished wrought iron fence) but undersells the broader repair and remodel work most reviewers actually describe. Worth confirming what's in scope for your project rather than assuming either way. A reasonable call for a homeowner with a punch list of odd jobs or a smaller remodel piece who wants one person who'll see it through and stay reachable while doing it.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Allegiance Contracting. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.

I can’t recommend Allegiance Contracting enough! Before choosing a contractor, I got several estimates from other companies. Not only did Allegiance come in with the most reasonable price, but they were also by far the most professional throughout the entire process. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations. Every detail was completed with care, and it was obvious they take pride in what they do. They showed up when they said they would, kept me informed every step of the way, and finished the project in a timely manner without cutting corners. Finding a contractor that’s honest, reasonably priced, reliable, and delivers high-quality work isn’t easy, but Allegiance Contracting checked every box. I will definitely be using them again for future projects and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for residential or commercial remodeling and repairs.
Hi I had two bedrooms done over. They are absolutely beautiful..they are always on time. They are there when they say they are going to be. Always clean up after themselves. We will definitely use them for other projects. Price is right. They are very friendly and easy to talk to The Owens family Thank u guys for all your hard work
We’ve been having trouble with any hangman actually following through on fixing our place. Multiple times we had people visit and never come back. Doug actually followed through unlike others. We had a long list of things to fix: patch a hole in the ceiling, re paint over water damage, fix shelving, fix curtain rod that no longer mounted to the wall correctly, replace garbage disposal, replace ceiling fan. We live in an old house, nothing is standard, but Doug was able to fix it all in 2-3 visits and came with different options he discussed with us on how we’d like things fixed. Very commutative. Would hire again.
Great work, always punctual and professional and a very fair value for the work performed. Will absolutely be using for work going forward!!
Doug did an amazing job on my kitchen remodel. Very pleasant to work with. . From beginning to end we had same vision. So happy with my new kitchen 😀😀
