Two very different pictures of the same Pembroke firm sit side by side. On Houzz, Alluring Concepts holds a clean 5.0 across three reviews, all posted in June 2026. On Angi and HomeAdvisor it sits at 3.0, because the two reviews there split exactly down the middle — one five-star, one one-star. The one-star is the one to read. In March 2026 a homeowner described a renovation of roughly $230,000 that went badly: repeated problems with planning, oversight and project management, a sense that trades were "doing the bare minimum", and communication from the owner they called "extremely poor", with explanations that later turned out to be inaccurate. That is a specific, recent account of how a large job was run, and it is the heaviest thing on this page. The Houzz side is just as specific in the other direction. A homeowner writing on 17 June 2026 credited Alysha and Chris with navigating unforeseen problems on a comprehensive renovation and keeping communication open throughout; another on 12 June said a whole-house renovation ran from design through demo to completion without significant delays; a third on 9 June praised the design work on an addition, and particularly how much was got out of the space. The timing is worth noting: those three landed inside nine days, three months after the Angi complaint. Alluring Concepts is a design-build shop — drawings, 3D renderings, construction and final styling under one roof — founded and run by Alysha Siciliano Perry, and Houzz marks the business woman-owned. Its Houzz gallery runs to 19 projects with genuine range: a whole-home rebuild in Lexington, a waterfront cottage in Kingston, a roof raise in Marshfield, duplex condos in Hull. Siciliano sits on the Pembroke Planning Board and the Old Colony Planning Council, and a South Shore Home, Life & Style profile in 2024 wrote about her as a woman making her way in home construction. Two things to sort out before signing. The tenure numbers don't line up — the company's own site says over 15 years, while Houzz, Angi and HomeAdvisor all say 22. And the licence: Houzz's profile says the owner holds an unrestricted construction supervisor licence, but that is a directory page, not a state record, so ask for the number and check it on the Massachusetts registry yourself, along with the home improvement contractor registration. For a design-led addition or renovation, where the drawings and the finish matter most, the June accounts and the gallery back that up. For a large multi-trade build, put the March complaint to them directly and ask exactly who runs the site day to day.
“We sat down with Alysha Siciliano to discuss her business Alluring Concepts and her role on the Pembroke Planning Board and Old Colony Planning Council.”
“The owner of Alluring Concepts, Alysha Siciliano, is paving the way for women in the home construction industry. A self-described “math geek” with a passion for design, Alysha has defied gender stereotypes to deliver exceptional results.”
“After years of working with her clients and being their advocate in discussions with their contractors, Alysha went on to receive her Construction Supervisor – Unrestricted license and form Alluring Concepts in 2013.”
“Ms. Siciliano was featured in “Empowering Women in 2024” by Social Home Life and Style Magazine. Additionally, Alluring Concepts was thrice honored with Community Choice Awards for best home builder and best kitchen and bath”
Embarking on a renovation project whether a modest update or a complete transformation creates a lot of stress and uncertainty. My recent experience however was a remarkable exception thanks to the team at Alluring Concepts. From our very first consultation, I knew I had found the right partner for my comprehensive renovation. Alysha immediately impressed me with her boundless energy, innovative design concepts and an uncanny ability to translate my vague concepts. Throughout the entire renovation journey Alysha and Chris along with their dedicated team demonstrated unparalleled professionalism. They smoothly navigated unseen challenges and consistently maintained open lines of communication. The attention to detail, the quality of their work and the dedication to bring my vision to life was truly outstanding. The end result is a space that exceeds my expectations. I cannot recommend Alluring Concepts highly enough.
Had a great experience with Alysha and her team from start to finish. AC's communication was timely and on point. Every team member was friendly, professional and responsive. The whole house renovation progressed seamlessly and without any significant delays from design through demo and on to completion. I consider myself fortunate to have found this partner to help me transform my home. Couldn't recommend them any higher.
Building an addition can feel overwhelming, but Alysha made the entire process exciting and enjoyable. Her talent for maximizing space is remarkable. She was able to take our wish list and create a design that not only met our needs but made our home function better than we thought possible. What truly sets her apart is her design eye. She has a gift for blending beauty and practicality, and her suggestions consistently made the project stronger. There were countless moments where she saw possibilities we never would have considered ourselves. We couldn’t be happier with our addition. Highly recommend.
We hired Alluring Concepts for a major renovation project totaling approximately $230,000, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. From early on there were repeated issues with planning, oversight, and overall project management. Instead of the level of coordination and quality you would expect on a project of this size, it often felt like contractors were doing the bare minimum to move things forward rather than focusing on delivering a truly finished product. Communication from the owner throughout the project was also extremely poor. There were numerous instances where concerns were raised and either went unanswered or were addressed with explanations that later proved to be inaccurate. As the project progressed, it became increasingly difficult to rely on the information being provided, which only added to the frustration of an already challenging renovation. One example was during the basement window replacement. While new windows were installed,
