Mark Hastings and his crew were efficient,despite the interruptions with massive weather changes and poor air quality,my initial review of what i needed done was discussed and plans were made,reviewed by myself and Mark,his advice re an electrician was discussed and agreed upon; The invoice was true from the start,with easy installments as work progressed; i was impressed with the team,the responses to my emails with Mark,,the job was done professionally; I would recommend Mark Hastings Carpentry for any renovations or repairs,,honest,fair pricing, and all renovation debris was removed, It was a well run team that worked on my house, I would certainly not hesitate to use this company in the future.

I recently had a bathroom fully renovated by Hastings Carpentry, including new shower, vanity, flooring and lighting. From start to finish Mark, his crew and subs were respectful, punctual, kind, and always made sure they cleaned up at the end of the day. The quality of the work done was superb, and we finally have a clean and fresh space to use. Any hiccups, albeit there were few, were addressed quickly and professionally. Additionally, I felt that Mark was accessible and very communicative throughout the whole process. I am extremely happy with the final outcome, and will absolutely be using Mark and his crew for any future projects.

I found Mark and Hastings Carpentry while searching for someone to remove a wall between our kitchen and living room. I did a search on our town FB page - his name came up a few times, and I decided to shoot him an email. First thing the next morning (a Saturday), I had a response, and we set up a time for him to come by that day to take a look. My first impression of meeting Mark for the first time - he was on time, put together, friendly, professional and good with dogs. He asked all of the right questions, and my response was always "I don't know...I just want this wall gone." (I had never done a project like this before!) Despite my indecision on most details, within a few days he put together a cohesive plan/estimate for me to review, and we got something on the calendar. During the project, Mark was very responsive to all of my messages and questions and was also very considerate of our work schedules as my husband and I both work from home. It was also a very busy summer for us with visitors; he worked around that scheduling as well. Everyone he brought to our house was absolutely lovely (guys for demo, electric, flooring, sheetrock, painting, etc.); all very conscientious workers like Mark and a joy to have around. Everyone was very thorough prepping the area for whatever task was at hand and cleaned up after themselves before leaving for the day. This was my first experience working with a contractor, and I truly feel like I hit the jackpot; we will definitely be calling Mark and his team back for more projects.
