And Thumbtack's own overview lists one employee and five years in business, while those reviewers describe Chris arriving with a crew and one puts his tenure past a decade — worth pinning down who actually shows up and how large a job he will take. For a room repaint, a floor install, drywall patching, or the handyman list that piles up over a winter, Chris is a sensible call — ask for a recent reference and get the scope in writing before the first day.
