Gagos Painting

Gago's Painting has built a five-star Google rating across 103 ratings, and the reviews behind it repeat a few specifics: cabinets that come back looking factory-made, crews that mask everything and clean up after themselves, and an owner who answers fast. Luciano runs the Everett, Massachusetts company, which takes on residential and commercial painting and finish carpentry across Everett, Newton, Waltham, Danvers, Wakefield, and Boston; its site says the team has more than 12 years of experience. Cabinet refinishing shows up again and again — several homeowners say Luciano suggested repainting instead of replacing their kitchen cabinets, and the finish leaves the kitchen looking transformed. Exterior repaints draw similar notes: careful masking, thorough prep, and cleanup, echoed by a 2024 Reddit commenter in r/malden who called out the careful masking and paint quality on an exterior job. Deck staining gets the same kind of praise — one recent reviewer said a faded, worn deck came back looking protected and refinished, with the crew explaining each step along the way. Finish carpentry comes up too: a recent review describes stairwell and hallway trim work, and 2025 reviews describe custom wainscoting and, on a house built in 1898, repaired railings, window sills, and trim. Communication comes up almost as often as the work itself. Reviewers describe Luciano responding within minutes of an inquiry and sticking to the quoted price. One reviewer, after being scammed by other painters, said the crew was hard-working and thorough and left them happy with a transformed bedroom. The company also takes on larger jobs: a 2025 review describes painting the exterior of two multi-unit buildings and the full interior of a six-family house. Gago's Painting is a strong call for exterior repaints, cabinet refinishing, and finish-carpentry work around Everett.
