Anderson Landscape Construction Inc

Rebuilding a lakefront backyard required Anderson Landscape Construction to turn an exterior staircase into an earthen ramp just to get heavy equipment onto the site. In a June 2026 Google review, the customer described replacing structures and systems from the waterfront retaining wall to French drains by the house, with patios, plantings and extensive earthmoving. After a year living with the result, they said no stone or plank had shifted through winter 2025/26 and no plant needed replacement. They called it expensive but said the site's logistics and waterfront challenges justified the premium price. Based in Sterling, Massachusetts, Anderson handles landscape construction as well as ongoing lawn care. Its website says the firm has more than 45 years of experience and offers outdoor-space design, horticulture, hardscape, excavation, drainage, irrigation, lighting, water features and seasonal maintenance. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active under Anderson Landscape Construction, Inc. Customers also describe smaller parts of that work. An August 2026 Houzz reviewer praised a long-driveway project, saying Andrew discussed options beforehand, the team arrived promptly, and they finished a little earlier than promised. An August 2026 Google reviewer recalled Anderson designing and installing plantings, trees, a brick walkway and lawns at a house built in 1990, then replacing the lawns at another home after a move in 2021. A June 2025 reviewer described a raised patio built on a former interior tandem parking spot and praised Freddy's communication throughout the project. In October 2024, another customer thanked Fred and the team for a home landscape with a water feature, citing attention to budget, communication and target dates. For lawn maintenance, an August 2026 customer described two years of service and regular contact with Kristen about pricing, services and concerns, including check-ins and reminders before visits.
