The pattern with Andrew McKinney is repeat business: clients who bought their first condo with him keep coming back years later — to rent it out, to sell it, to buy the next place. He's a residential agent based on Newbury Street who, by his own account, has spent 15 years working with buyers, sellers, and investors across Boston and the inner suburbs, from Cambridge and Somerville out to Newton and Melrose. He's also an attorney and an MBA, per his site, and his Massachusetts associate broker license is active in the state registry. His Google page shows a 5-star average across 71 ratings, with written reviews stretching back to 2021. The recent ones follow the long-running theme: this June, a client who first bought with him in 2015 was back for another round of rental listings with his team, and in May a family relocating from out of state credited him with securing a Beacon Hill unit. Across the years, reviewers describe the same things — quick responses by call or text, plain explanations of each step, and steady guidance for first-time buyers through offers and closings. It isn't unanimous. One buyer in that history came away doubting how candid the advice was, the lone sour note among dozens of positive accounts. It's worth taking seriously anyway: when you interview him, ask directly who he represents in your deal and how he handles situations where his commission and your interests could pull apart. For a first purchase in the city, an out-of-state relocation, or a suburb move where you want one person handling both the sale and the search, this is a long-relationship practice built for exactly that. Confirm current commission terms and representation in writing before you sign.

Andrew helped me purchase my first home back in 2015 and when I decided to start renting that space out, Andrew was who I called to list it. He and his team have now helped me through multiple rounds of rental listings in a changing Boston market and have gotten great results every time. They consistently go above and beyond to get the best outcome for their clients and are informed, transparent, and responsive.

My family and I were relocating to Boston from out of state, and Andrew was instrumental in helping us secure a great unit in Beacon Hill. Highly recommend!

My family has worked with Andrew on multiple transactions and would highly recommend! He is very knowledgeable and understands the market. His recommendations were all spot on and the folks he introduced us to during the process were also of equal caliber.

Andrew was the listing agent on our home purchase. He and Dimitrios were extremely communicative, professional, and helpful throughout the whole process!

Andrew did a fantastic job guiding us through our first home search and purchase. He's got a great eye for detail when touring houses and finds things that could be potential issues. He gave great advice regarding offers and negotiation, and he was also mindful of our budget and other requirements when suggesting places to check out. His prior legal experience also helped out a lot when going through P&S and closing. I felt Andrew did an excellent job representing our best interests and made sure we got the best outcome possible. I'd gladly recommend Andrew to anyone looking to buy a house in the area.
