Androscoggin Builders came highly recommended when we were looking to renovate a recently purchased lake house. We hired George because of his his experience, fair pricing and he seemed easy to work with on a multi faceted project with many not yet finalized plans. We found his team to be very professional and accommodating as we poked our noses in a fair amount. They installed a beautiful stone veneer gas fireplace, an oversized picture window overlooking the lake and seamlessly enlarged two bedrooms. Throughout, George kept the project moving forward, despite Maine's unreliable fall weather. He also made sure we were completely satisfied at every step of the project. We would gladly recommend Androscoggin Builders for any renovation project.
I have used Androscoggin Builders for several projects at my summer home and a rental unit in Rome, ME including a new kitchen, 4 new bathrooms, a master bedroom addition, a screen porch, and a garage. They are excellent to work with, no surprises, and very communicative. This is important being 3 hours away from the project. George and I would talk ever 2-3 days and I got pictures of all the work projects in progress. I HIGHLY recommend them.
George Bardaglio, owner of Androscoggin Builders, Inc. is a professional in every sense of the word. Hired to build our retirement home on lake front property in 2010 my wife and I knew immediately we had the right builder. We presented a house design to him knowing that there would be some significant changes. Working with our input and George's advice, we navigated nicely through changes such as room layout, sizing, and fixture placement. We have now lived in the house almost five years and we could not be happier. Many of our friends say we have the nicest house in town and we believe them. Thanks, George.
My wife and I hired Androscoggin Builders to design and build a modest cape on the Kennebec River. George Bardaglio, the owner, worked with us to design an appropriately sized home based on the river front setting and our lifestyle. Despite the challenging building site and less than ideal weather conditions, the project was completed on schedule and within our budget. Throughout the project Mr. Bardaglio was receptive to our suggested modifications to the original plans. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Androscoggin Builders. We remain very pleased with our home.
Androscoggin Builders is building me a 1500 sq. ft. house and it has been a wonderful experience! George Bardaglio, owner/contractor, has listened to what I want; v match cathedral ceiling in living/dining area, tray ceilings in the two bedrooms and den, crown molding and two archways where there are open doorways. He has also done an excellent job in explaining and showing things to me so that I understand. Overall it has been a great experience!
