Another Level Landscape & Tree is a Billerica outfit whose name says exactly what it does — tree work and landscape and hardscape installs, run by owner Mark DiPietro, who the company says started the business in 2011 and has worked in the field for 27 years. The strongest specific account on file is a 2024 review describing a full front-yard rebuild on a historic Bedford home: old plants and a cracked walkway pulled out, a new french drain and crushed stone laid along the foundation, a bordered paver walkway and granite block stairs installed, then shrubs replanted and the lawn loamed and reseeded. On the tree side, a 2023 review credits Joe, who runs that division, with talking a homeowner out of removing every tree on the property and instead planning around which ones were actually healthy. A more recent review, from April 2026, describes hiring the company twice more for new-grass establishment and hardscaping around a property's perimeter, citing clear communication and reasonable pricing. Two older reviews are worth knowing about before booking. A 2024 review describes a lawn-mowing visit where workers reportedly left the customer's tools coated in garbage and drove equipment over garden hoses — a specific, detailed complaint about crew conduct on-site. A 2023 review describes a dispute over a separate leaf-pickup job: the customer says the crew showed up unannounced, did minimal work, and the two sides disagreed over whether additional charges were owed. Neither incident recurs in the newer reviews, but both are concrete enough to ask about directly, especially for routine mowing or cleanup work rather than a tree or hardscape project. Google shows 3.9 stars across 29 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau lists the company at an A+ grade (it is not BBB-accredited). One thing worth confirming: the BBB profile lists a Burlington address and 11 years in business, while the company's own site lists a Billerica address and a 2011 founding. For a tree job or a bigger hardscape project — a patio, a retaining wall, drainage work — the detailed reviews suggest a crew that plans carefully and finishes clean. For routine mowing or a one-off cleanup, it's worth being specific up front about scope and scheduling.
They've done a couple projects for us. They helped us establish new grass at our new home and did some hardscaping for us around the perimeter of the property. They were excellent. Communication was perfect, pricing reasonable and the work was great. Their "office" support was always responsive and helpful. I highly recommend them.

Mark at Another Level Landscape & Tree did a great job for us here in Bedford. Our historic home needed a face lift. Mark made some recommendations and got to work. They removed all the old plants along the front of the house, removed the old cement stairs and paved walkway, installed a new french drain system with new crushed stone along the foundation, installed a bordered paver walkway, new front composite landing and granite block stairs. Then replanted new shrubs, mulched the garden, and loamed and seeded the lawn. Their attention to detail was great! The design, appearance, and quality of work was wonderful. Highly recommend Another Level Landscape and Tree!
To whom it may concern: These gentlemen (if you can call them that) are not professional at all. I am working in a house and they came to cut the grass, I had my tools on one side of the grass and they filled my tools with garbage, it was not enough that and they ran their machines over the hoses that I had to wash the house...I don't understand what the rush was in them to finish quickly if when they arrived they spent a long time in the truck looking at their cell phones until it seemed like they weren't going to work.
The tree division of this was handled by Joe who couldn’t have been nicer and completed what was done by letting me know times they would be at my home and pricing. I then wanted leaf pick up which is a separate entity. Apparently they don’t schedule a time, just show up and do minimum work. Non of the leaves that I inquired about were removed instead a very small portion around my mailbox was trimmed and edged. I was told they would be back but then was told “no one said that” and I was not compromising when I didn’t want to pay additional money for more work. I would recommend people NEVER to use this company.
