Apex Pest Solutions

Apex Pest Solutions takes on bugs and animals alike: lady beetles, yellow jackets, ants, skunks and rodents. Its website lists service areas that run from Burlington, Milton and St. Albans to Montpelier and Barre. A customer who has used Apex for quite a few years says it started with a lady beetle problem and has since had them out monthly in the warmer season to spray for mosquitoes and ticks; they also helped when skunks kept spraying the family's dogs. A customer on an annual Asian lady beetle treatment says the first treatment of a yellow jacket nest in the soffit didn't completely eliminate it, so they came back and made sure the job was finished. One reviewer says Apex has done annual ant treatments for their homeowners association for several years. A 2024 customer said Chris removed a skunk from under the house, then filled the burrows, dug around the foundation, installed wire mesh and placed concrete blocks against the foundation. A 2025 customer said Chris responded to a skunk call within an hour, and a pair of skunks were removed the following morning after traps and cameras were set. A 2025 customer with wasp nests in several spots said the appointment came within a couple of days and the problem was solved in about 40 minutes, at a price that customer called fair. A 2025 Reddit commenter in r/burlington wrote that Chris took care of the problem over a few weeks for the initial agreed-upon quote, then offered optional monthly or quarterly visits. A recent customer who signed a contract for what they called a complex problem says Apex went silent after the initial visits, didn't follow through on promises, and the problem got much worse. A 2025 customer said Chris set traps for an attic rodent but wouldn't close up the soffit hole because he didn't like heights; after several days with no results and daily service charges, that customer hired another trapper. A 2025 reviewer wrote that, after traps were set in the reviewer's mom's attic and he was paid, the nest was still up there and messages asking him to come back went unanswered.
