Highlights
- Verified license — Massachusetts electrician registration active on the state registry
- Repeat customers — a reviewer said they would hire the company again
- Thin record — seven Google ratings and four written reviews since 2022
- Crew pace — a one-star review called the workers slow
Aries Electrical Service and Controls is a small Methuen shop, and the public record on it is thin: seven Google ratings averaging 3.9, with four written reviews spread across 2022 to late 2025. Its Massachusetts electrician license, number 9100, is active on the state registry. The written reviews split. Most describe punctual work at fair prices and customers who came back; the one clearly negative note, from several years ago, complains about the crew's pace and the owner's manner. Four comments over four years is not enough to call a pattern in either direction. Worth a call if you want a small, owner-run electrician in the Merrimack Valley. Ask for a written quote and a firm schedule up front, and ask for a couple of recent references — the public record here is too thin to lean on.

Norm is a great guy. Came on time and did a great job. Will be hiring him again

Norm and his team have always been great! They installed a ceiling fan in our leaving room and an EV plug in the garage. Norm is always super responsive and will do everything to get your project done quickly, neatly and super professionally executed. He even added a solid peace of wood on top of my stairs to access the attic in order to make it easier to get to the top! He installed my EV plug in a very short notice (despite his very busy schedule) so I could plug in my new EV car the day of delivery. Always priced very fairly and they leave the place super neat like they were never there! Norm is my guy to call for any electrical project.

These guys were awesome! I've used them several times and I keep coming back to them because they are quick, reliable great pricing, and they really know their stuff! They have always been extremely professional. Definitely give these guys a shot if you need a good electrician.
