Verified record
Armor Fence & Supply Co is a small Wakefield fencing outfit whose customers talk about the owner, Joe, by name. A 2023 review calls him extremely friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, and a 2022 review sums up a finished job simply: "BEST fence." The record is thin and split. In a 2022 review, a different homeowner described a wood fence installed with boards that weren't tight enough to block sightlines through it; when they raised it, Joe reportedly said that was normal and the wood would shrink, and the customer says he stopped responding once they pushed back and mentioned writing a review. Its BBB listing is unrated, not accredited, and flags the business as believed to be out of business — worth confirming directly before reaching out. With only a handful of reviews on file, weigh the 2022 complaint about tightness and follow-through against the friendlier feedback, and verify the company is still taking work before booking.

Joe is extremely friendly, knowledgable, efficient, and much more. Can’t recommend him enough.
BEST fence.
I had a fence replaced a year ago. The wood is not tight and you can see through it. When I mentioned this to Joe, he said that it was fine and that would shrinks. I told him my old fence was over 20 years old and was always tight, he said that’s how fences are and that I was being snarky (we communicated through email). I called him saying I wasn’t being snarky but that I just wasn’t pleased with the way the fence was.. after that the communication was done! I told him I was writing a review ; wood went up so I paid top dollar for this.
