Ashland Cabinet is a family-run kitchen and bath cabinet business working out of a by-appointment showroom at 150 Cordaville Rd (Rt 85) in Southborough. Reviewers deal directly with the family - Matt Sr., Matt Jr. and Lisa in the office are named over and over across five years of comments - and the work runs from design through ordering to installation by the firm's own crews. The design stage is what homeowners praise most. One family arrived wanting an island in a kitchen they thought was too small and got one; another had a 900 sq ft ADU kitchen laid out so visitors "stop in their tracks"; a third had a new kitchen designed around an existing layout with soft-close cabinetry. Several reviewers say they compared multiple cabinet companies before choosing this one. The installation crews get their own, separate praise. A 2024 reviewer who bought a bathroom vanity, tower and medicine cabinet singled out the mitre joints and the crew's willingness to try a couple of placements and reverse a door hinge; others describe installers as detail-oriented and tidy. What stands out most in the record is what happens after the job. A homeowner whose refrigerator leaked months later had all the toe-kick trim replaced within two days; another had a replacement panel sent and a special trip made to the Cape after a panel was damaged during a countertop install; a third, whose original kitchen company stopped returning calls after a microwave malfunction left a hole in the island, was taken on as a small repair job. One reviewer who moved into a family home the firm had fitted out in 2008 says Matt Jr. matched the new cabinetry to the originals so closely you cannot tell them apart. Two things are worth asking about. One homeowner whose kitchen and dining room renovation the firm handled as general contractor describes initial delays before the team got back on track, and another says the cabinets "took a while" to arrive - a third had cabinets held in the firm's warehouse at no charge while their project ran late. Timelines, in other words, are the thing to pin down in writing. The review record is unusually consistent: 93 reviews on file from 2021 to 2026 across seven sources, a Google average of 5 stars from 121 ratings, and a single 4-star comment as the only non-five-star body in the sample read here. The set reads as genuine rather than manufactured - reviews vary widely in length, name the same owner-operators across years, describe distinct identifiable projects, and several are signed with full names.

The process was simple and the final product has visitors stopping in their tracks in awe. This eat-in-kitchen tastefully maximizes space, blending beauty and function in our 900sqft. ADU.
Ashland Cabinet was terrific in all stages of the kitchen design, ordering and installation process. They are very customer focused and a pleasure with whom to work. Highly recommend !
Ashland Cabinets helped me complete a project that was dear and close to my heart. Last year in January a tree fell on the house, which allowed me to finally pull the trigger on a much needed kitchen renovation. Matt was able to design with me along the way, among all the construction, all the clutter, and came over several times to deal with obstacles that were showing up as the space was being ready for the kitchen install. He was always available and responsive. On a personal note, this kitchen was designed by a person close to my heart who succumbed to a cancer battle as soon as I signed with Ashland Cabinets. Matt and his team took that into consideration, and made sure to create a kitchen that would honor Kath. "We'll make it right," Matt said, and his team sure did. I can't thank them enough. Edwin.
We can not express our appreciation of Matt and his team in just words. From the first meeting through the execution of the final detail, Matt not only delivered, but also responded to every question or issue in a timely, reasonable and professional manner. He was patient with indecision and provided valuable opinions to help guide us along the way. The cabinets are absolutely beautiful and the installation is perfect. He stands by his work and his team. We would hire Matt/Ashland Cabinets again without hesitation.
