The crew working on Route 29 in Saratoga County, New York did an absolutely fantastic job. The crew were all so polite and incredibly respectful of the property. Their work was done impeccably and they paid attention to every detail during the trimming/cutting process and then to clean-up. Their road crew…directing traffic…were smiling and cordial. I can't imagine a better experience because they all went above and beyond to display their professionalism and kindness. Thank you all!
Avoid this company at all costs. This was not careful forestry or respectful vegetation management. It was careless, destructive, and showed a complete disregard for private property, the surrounding environment, and the people who own the land. Three very young workers showed up and were not clear about what they were to demolish. And they cleared everything in the way so that they wouldn’t have to return for another decade or so. Asplundh Tree Service entered our property without permission, blocked our driveway with a large truck, and proceeded to cut healthy trees to at were FAR from the power lines, without ever speaking to us. They should never have been on our property, let alone butcher it to oblivion, without permission. Tree “expert”? More like a marketing overcompensation for their lack of knowledge and experience. The damage they left behind is staggering. Healthy short trees and shrubs located approximately 6–12 ft from the power lines were cut or severely topped. They left numerous tall, jagged stumps throughout our woods, scattered logs and branches across the forest floor and left them, and left poorly cut limbs still hanging in standing trees. Instead of leaving the area safe or presentable, they turned a beautiful woodland into a hazardous mess. If you value your trees, your property rights, or the appearance of your land, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. We have photographed and documented the damage and will hold this company accountable.
They are way too aggressive with cutting trees for the power lines. Cut into our property growing away from the lines.
Would not recommend them for anyone’s neighborhood! Especially their “Safety vehicle” operator who felt it NECESSARY to go 35 in a RESIDENTIAL area with kids, walkers and dogs. Who’s actually job is unknown because where the work was done he was streets away watching his phone. They said “oh it will be a difference you’ll see”… Nope. I see no reason for them to be paid for the “work” they did. No wonder the 2.5 star rating!
5/14/26 10:44AM Mile marker 17 (.4) on 91 south. Absolutely wreckless driver. Driving a massive truck (with attachment/trailer like) in pouring rain at high rates of speed weaving in and out of traffic, no turning signal, no notice. Wish I had a dash cam. Literally going to kill someone. God forbid they have to stop quick or more likely they will just barrel someone off the road without seeing them. Huge liability. Going to kill someone. Would’ve taken a picture or video but I actually care about lives of others and drive with two hands on my steering wheel.
