Monster Tree Service of Hartford

Monster Tree Service of Hartford does tree work, including trimming, removals and stump grinding. One customer had a tree fall in the yard on a Monday morning and said the crew arrived on Tuesday afternoon and had the job completed within two hours, including cleanup. A customer with a large silver maple said Tim came out and gave a quote, and the crew came on the scheduled day to trim back branches; that customer called the quote reasonable for the work done. A customer with a large maple between two fences said Gary found it was actually two trees grown together with poor root systems, and the crew then cut them down, working through a gate and around three fences. One customer had stump grinding and some trees removed and said the site was clean when they were done. A 2024 customer said the work on two Norway maples was performed within 3 weeks of the quote, which was priced lower than the other quotes that customer got, and that they were done by lunch time. A customer in East Granby who hired the company after a tornado damaged their home said the crew cut only part of a fallen tree before stopping over a bee nest, then left bark and debris in the yard, and that heavy trucks left ruts and holes. An addendum on that review says the $500 job that was agreed was completed as requested and that the remaining bark was not part of the agreed scope.
