Atlantic Reglaze refinishes bathtubs, showers and tile surfaces instead of replacing them. The company describes itself as a reglazing company in Cranston, RI, says it has been in business 16 years, and lists Cranston, Lincoln and Providence as its service area. A 2025 customer said a reglazed bathtub was peeling seven months after the job and was told it was not covered under the warranty. That 2025 customer said a non-slip surface added afterward for another $200 did nothing, and the tub was still not usable. A 2025 customer who booked a bathroom tile reglaze at a rental property said the job was rescheduled because there was not enough paint in the specially ordered color. That 2025 customer said nobody showed up at the rescheduled 10:30 time, and that chemicals left on the hardwood floor during prep took the finish off it. A 2024 customer said a clawfoot tub in a rental unit turned out well, but the adjacent wall was not covered and mineral spirits stripped its paint. That 2024 customer said overspray sealed onto the shower head and toilet paper holder, which had to be replaced for $60, and later wrote that the reglaze was bubbling and peeling after a little over a year. A 2023 customer said a reglazed kitchen sink started to chip as soon as it was used and was told the warranty did not cover it. On Google the company averages 3.5 stars across 21 ratings.

Terrible company. Showed up to reglaze my bathroom tiles. After prepping the bathroom they told me they did not have enough paint to do the job in the color they specially ordered for the job and wanted me to choose a different color instead so they would not have to come back another day. I said no. They rescheduled the job for the upcoming Saturday at 10:30. Nobody ever showed up. It's a rental property, so I went home. At 1 in the afternoon they finally arrived and called looking for me. The day they were there and prepped the bathroom, they left some chemicals on the hardwood floor in my living room that leaked and took the finish off the floor. Floors that were refinished just 2 years ago. I contacted their insurance company and I am waiting for them to come out and assess the damage.
Great job I had my done well recommend
I am very dissatisfied with this company. My bathtub was reglazed 7 months ago and is peeling. I am being told this is not covered under the warranty even though it only says do not use RUBBER MATS which I didn’t. I would never use them for anything again and obviously this is their scam. Blame the customer when the job is done improperly. Update: I couldn’t get someone else to repair their work so with no other choice had them come back. I had them put non-slip surface in hopes of avoiding the peeling again. However, the non-slip surface did nothing and you actually slide right over it causing a serious fall risk. So after another $200 paid to this horrible company I still have a bathtub that is not usable. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I had a clawfoot tub reglazed in one of my rental units. On the day of installation, there were some minor issues. The first worker who arrived only spoke Spanish, but thankfully, a second worker eventually came who spoke English. Overall, the tub turned out well; the finish looks good, especially considering it was a very old tub. The real problem, however, came from the overspray during the process. They didn’t cover the adjacent wall, and when they used mineral spirits, it stripped the paint. While this wasn’t a huge issue since I simply repainted the wall, the bigger problem was that they oversprayed onto the shower head and toilet paper holder. I reached out to customer service, and initially, I was told that someone would come out to address the issue. I waited from 11 a.m. to about 1 p.m. on Monday, only to be informed that the technician was on another job. They offered to schedule someone to come out on Friday, but that wouldn’t work for me because of my job. After I explained this, they told me to buy mineral spirits and use them to remove the overspray. I bought the product and tried using it, but as I suspected, it didn’t work since the overspray is sealed onto the metal and plastic of the shower head and toilet paper holder. In the end, I had to go to the store to buy replacements, and I’m now out $60 due to their mistake. I won’t be using their services again. Recently contracted them to honor the warranty because the Reglaze is bubbling and peeling off it’s only been a little over a year and was told they won’t honor the warranty because I left a bad review. Be aware hire them at your own risk.
Had kitchen sink done 2 years ago. It sat for a couple weeks without use while I was waiting for my counter tops. It had plenty of time to cure. As soon as I started using it...it started to chip. Within a couple months there were many chips. I could pick this paint off with my finger nails. I called them and they came to tell me it was my fault and the warranty doesn't cover this(so I noticed on other people comments, same thing, "warranty doesn't cover this"). They wanted me to pay full price again. I said, no way. 2 years later my sink has chips every where and the white paint has staining. The product they use is very cheap. I heard this has happen to many others out there with Atlantic reglaze. They may charge less but you get what you pay for. Please a company that uses quality products it will be worth it in the end. Please learn from my lesson because I'm paying to have it done again but with a reputable company who uses quality products and stands behind their work.
