Kai Creations - Bathrooms & Basements holds a 5★ Google rating from 8 ratings. A 2026 review says Derick Garcia installed two storm doors, and calls his craftsmanship of the highest quality. A 2023 review said Derick Garcia did an excellent job on a bathroom project, and that after each day's work he tidied up and organized for the following day. That 2023 review also called his tile work beautiful. In a 2023 review about a fiberglass shower replaced with tile "a few years ago," the reviewer said Derick was dependable and was there when he said he would be. According to that 2023 review, when he came upon something unexpected while working on the shower, he let them know the problem and what the options were. The same 2023 review said he kept the work site very clean and covered the floors so the wood floors took no dirt or damage. A 2022 review said Derick had done many projects in the reviewer's home, including bathrooms, basements and a kitchen, and that he communicated the project scope and cost clearly. A 2024 update to that review says Derick had just finished the master bath after shoddy work by the original contractor, and that he fixed some bulges in the bathtub. A 2022 review said Derek was the general contractor for a walk-out basement remodel with a full bathroom, and called his work high-quality and detail oriented. In a separate 2022 review, the reviewer said their bathroom remodel required replacing old mud tile walls with new wallboard and plaster, replacing the vanity, measuring and installing a new granite countertop, and painting the walls and ceiling. A 2024 review called Kai Creations' bathroom renovations beautiful and unique, and said they work to source their materials locally.
