Augart Construction

Augart Construction is a Medford-based residential remodeling company founded by Robert Augart in 1998, focused on renovating and restoring older and historic homes in the Boston area — the company says its work runs from kitchen and bath projects to whole single- and multi-family renovations. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, held by Robert Augart, is registry-verified but currently expired. BuildZoom's own listing separately shows that same license, plus a second HIC registration in his name, as having been cancelled at one point, alongside a Newton residential builder license last seen expiring at the end of 2022. That doesn't match the company's own website, which describes Augart as "a Massachusetts licensed Construction Supervisor and registered Home Improvement Contractor." Given that gap between the site's claim and the registry record, anyone considering hiring should confirm current licensing directly before signing anything. Augart positions itself around historic-home renovation and remodeling in the Boston area; that's a real, longstanding niche, but the licensing discrepancy is worth resolving with the company up front.
