AXP Braintree, at 1050 Washington Street, is one of three South Shore Massachusetts shops run under the AXP Auto name — but the trade its reviews actually describe is auto repair, not home heating and cooling. Nearly every review here talks about a car: an oil change, a brake job, a suspension rebuild, not a furnace or a central-air unit. What people who've brought a car in keep repeating is speed and communication. A full front suspension rebuild got done in a day and a half. A brake job on a locked-up caliper, called in as an afternoon panic, came back finished faster than promised. One customer says a mechanic solved an issue other shops couldn't or wouldn't touch. Pricing comes up often too — reviewers describe quotes well under what competing shops proposed for the same repair. Not every account is clean. A pre-purchase inspection went wrong, according to one customer, when jumper cables were connected incorrectly, blowing five fuses they had to pay to fix. A separate cluster of one-star reviews, spread across the shop's history, describe being quoted for repairs — a full brake job, an air-compressor swap — that a second opinion or the customer's own judgment said weren't needed. None of this speaks to whether AXP Braintree can handle a home heating or air-conditioning job — nothing in its reviews or its own site claims that kind of work. Anyone who found this listing while searching for HVAC service should call and confirm what the shop actually does before assuming it matches what's needed at home.

I think these guys are awesome every time I’ve always called they fit me in. They’re very responsible and professional. I did have an issue. They tried to open the hood of my Lincoln and the latch broke and they stepped right on up. They helped me to find a latch actually I found it on my own, but they did attempt to go search for one, but they also agreed to reimburse me for my latch and put the latch in. It was never done maliciously. It was an accident and I totally get that. I would strongly suggest that these guys are honest they’re fair they step up so I give them a five star rating all day long and I wanted to just say thank you to John. He was very professional and very understanding in the matter and he came through for me so again, I highly recommend this place.
